Welcome to The Shepherdess Gym.

Keeping Fitness Fresh in the Hambleden Valley.

The Shepherdess Gym has evolved during lockdown through an attempt to create a safe place to exercise, socialise and enjoy the great outdoors. The Shepherdess Gym is an organic approach to fitness. Keeping in touch with our farm routes allows us plenty of space, tyres of all shapes and sizes and most importantly a motivated, adaptable and intuitive PT to help you reach your fitness goals working with your surroundings.

The primary space for the Shepherdess Gym is in a large field on Emma’s family sheep farm situated in the Hambleden Valley, Buckinghamshire. This not only means the views are a little more exciting than the usual four walls in the gym but you may also be sharing your gym space with a sheep or two.

Our classes are for all levels and Emma is fantastic at changing the exercises to suit each and every person in the class. Take your time, you will get there, we are here to support you.

1-1 Personal Training

Whatever your training goals we will work together to find a tailored and unique approach to meet your needs, to suit your lifestyle. If you have the space, I am happy to come to you, as well as host at The Shepherdess Gym location.

Bootcamp

Our Bootcamp sessions provide a sociable and variable approach to fitness. Suitable for mixed abilities, adapting your typical gym exercises to meet the environment. 

Circuits

Working through a variety of exercises involving a range of strength and cardio, with the addition of equipment, usually in tyre form. 
These full-body workouts are designed to improve your all-round fitness. 
All exercises can be adapted to accommodate any level of fitness, making each class accessible for all levels.

Body Conditioning

Slower paced, bodyweight focused sessions to improve core strength, mobility, balance and posture.

Body Conditioning Circuits

A low impact full-body workout using a variety of kit, aiming to improve overall fitness, strength and endurance. 

This session is aimed at those just beginning their fitness journey or getting back on track.
